Onvacation...If your not looking to break 800-900 hp then the stock 12v mechanical cam driven piston fuel pump would be fine.
Otherwise if your gonna drive it alot then go with the beefiest one.. the hydralic steering pump idea sound snice..as it should last a long time.. 10k between rebuilds at $250 sounds crazy..even if the lubricity of diesel is better the n alcohol and added double the life to the pump or triple ..$250 every yar or year and a half sounds like a lot of $..but if you are thinkings it s alot of $..like me ..i guess i shouldn't be messing with it..lol..ha
