I’m unsure how I’m going to go about that at the moment. The plan is once the back half is done, I’ll get this mounted and get the motor set in so I can eye ball everything and make a decision on how To go about it.
Well I finally picked up the race motor for the truck! I’ll post an update with a breakdown on the engine specs soon. Also, I have a bunch of parts on the way from the Kingspeed crowd. But for the time being, I did get the opportunity to be on The Diesel Podcast! Here is a link below!!

Not a huge update, but I did pick up an emergency spare engine, just in case something happens with the race motor, I should in theory be able to throw this one in and still run 5.90 while making the necessary repairs to the race motor.
Finally a couple quick updates. The head is finally finished up at Kingspeed. Went with fire rings, milled off the intake shelf, did some port work, and went to an oversized valve. Currently waiting on them to make an oversized version of their intake for it, and I’ll be ready to slam the engine together.
Also, finally seeing progress on the chassis. Dropping off the new rear end today… hope to see this thing sitting on its own weight in the next week or so!
And…. The new wheels for the “temporary” race setup. I’m not gonna have the funds to go to a 15” race wheel/brake setup… so for now we are gonna settle with these 17” welds
