I just finished coating a set of piston skirts, and rod bearings with some cerakote. Then thought what about bearings in turbos? Would it help with thrust bearing life?

I did my pistons, rod bearings and tappets with micro slick as well. I didn't think of thrust bearings, but it's worth a try.

What do you do, spray it on the pistons and bearings ect ?

Lightly blast the part with 100 grit at 40 psi, then spray it on with a detail gun. The micro slick doesn't need to be baked, but I bake it at 300 for an hour. Anymore than that isn't good for hardened parts.
