2004 Jetta TDI 5spd manual 220k miles. Loaded with Monsoon sound, heated leather seats, sunroof, steering wheel controls, etc.

This has been my daily for a year, and last week it tore some teeth off the timing belt and tore the engine up. So it will need to be rebuilt. Figured I would offer it to someone on here. I have put some decent money into this car, so I feel my price is fair even with the bad engine.

THE BAD: The headliner is in bad shape, it has a ding on the pass front fender, and the paint is chipping on the rear bumper. The hood paint is faded as well as a few spots on the trunk and rear quarter panels. The drivers seat has a hole that is covered by gorrilla tape. All very typical of these cars.

Mods/new parts:
New Garrett VNT17
Malone stage IV tune
EGR delete
Autometer boost gauge
Straight exhaust
K&N air filter
Diesel Geek short shifter
Diesel Geek shifter bushing
Performance clutch
17" aftermarket wheels and new tires
fresh alignment
New alternator
New injection pump
Bilstein front struts
New strut bushings
LED Headlights
Monster mats
20% tint on front windows, 5% on all rears.
Plastidipped roof

Buyer will have to pick this up in south TX, I dont have the time to meet or deliver.

$2000cash

Good looking car. Price seems reasonable to me for the mods.

Is that a pump duese (or whatever they're called) engine or did those not start until 2005?

I appreciate it, yes it is a PD engine.

I found a couple complete long blocks for $500ea.

Man I'd love to have this! Wish you were closer to Oregon. If you end up parting it out I'll take the turbo and short shifter stuff. I'm assuming you wouldn't do that for awhile tho. Anyways good luck with sale.

If it doesnt sell the way it is, I will just put a new engine in it. It will be a while before I have time to touch it though.

Picked up a used engine this weekend, I will put it back up for sale once it is running again.

PS: may trade for a 2nd gen 4x4 preferably 12v, or possibly a 1st gen.
