Going to be running Mahle Marines in my 4BT.

I'm excited to see how this new motor is going to work!!
 
Beautiful puppies. Plans for the build? Gonna bring the CR back up?
 
A machine shop in Edmonton did them for me. Also got them coated on the top locally too. Plans are full internal balance. Half filled block. P-pump with 5k springs. Ported head and a big cam. Compression is staying down. I'm currently trying to figure out if a commonrail 4bt head gasket is mls and if I can make it work on my 4bt.

what happened to the dual VE idea ?? lmfao
 
MLS gasket isn't a good fit. I got one with the same ideas... no good.
I forget anymore, but quite a few things didn't line up.

Damn. Maybe I'll just cut 2 cyl off a 6bt gasket lol. Just have to move the rocker oil feed ports then.
 
What shop in edmonton did the reliefs? Did they have a jig for location? What did they charge?
