Well, since I wanted to go fast, but too broke to build a CR, figured I'd do the next best thing. Welcome to my "build" thread.
The conversion has been done since Oct 2016, but I'll get y'all up to speed, and we'll see where this shyt show takes me.

Ok, let's see if I can get this in order...
All the VP44 junk off, front cover, cam, etc etc.
All of this actually started from a head gasket issue, NOT a VP44 issue, if you can believe it.

I normally would have went with Mantons, but I got a smoking deal on these Maxspools.

Stage 3 180 from Seth. Really regret not going with the 7mm, but i already had the 024s from my 12V, and I doubt the extra 10cc would have made THAT big of a difference.

Billet cam gear retainer. Not that I have the fuel or the air to actually hit 5k, but for $40, it's worth the piece of mind.

My first try at polishing. Definitely not going to make a career out of it... talk about tedious...

KDP tabbed, cause... well, why not.

Case on, moving along.

Head back from the machine shop. Wasn't too terribly thrilled with how it looked, but it was the first time I've ever had a head machined, so what do I know.
O rings, P&P heavy on exhaust, light on intake, a little bowl work, 3 angle, new seals and seats, 110lb valve springs

Nice little gasser cluster. Even though 5k is wishful thinking, I still run out to about 4300-4400, so it's still nice to have.

Pump mounted up and the Vulcan Performace dual feed.

Tork Tek 060 OFV. I know, I know... regulated return is better, but until I get around to building one, this will do.

Restricted oil feed and oil feed line I had made. Used the block fitting off of my 12V and put it in one of the test ports, hooked up the line, nice and clean install. 12v oil feed line was 1. Too short, and 2. Crusty and nasty, and I wasn't going to pay $100+ for the "conversion" line, my $30 line works fantastic.

Timing, check. Settled at a warm and fuzzy 27°.

.078 lines from John Pezan, very impressed with the fitment and quality.

Stole the boost reference line from the 12V as well, receiving pressure from the plenum via a boost bolt.
