need a good shut down cable

Where can i get a cable with a knob that would work good for a shut down cable? I got a choke cable on there right now and that damn cable binds up everytime i pull it so i gotta get out everything i start the truck and pull the shut down lever back a little bit so it will have some power. I put a decent spring on the lever as well and still no good. Any ideas or suggestions would be great, because i only had one other vehicle i had to open the hood before i could start and that was a 7.3 that i had to squirt every time i started it :hehe:
 
go to a truck shop and get a PTO cable for a big truck they have a nice heavy cable and a screw on knob, they work really well

I think that will do the trick. I gotta change it soon, its driving me nuts. I am getting picked on by the ford boys. They still cant catch me though ;)
