New 6.70/5.90 drag truck build.

Is there anyway you have space to put the radiator in the bed area? Im curious as to how well balanced the weight is of this truck. Other than that thought the truck keeps looking better and better!

Yes, that will probably be the plan for later on. It would cost about $1000 to do everything I need to mount a smaller radiator in the bed.

Still doing wiring, plumbing, and some light fab work. I picked up the rear drive shaft today and worked on the engine harness. I don’t think I’m too far from powering up the ECM and see if I let the smoke out.

Looking good! I need to make a business trip to San Anton once it’s off jack stands.

I am getting close on the standalone harness, I powered up the ECM and I didn’t let any smoke out so that is a good sign. Lol

Injectors are firing, so hopefully once I get the fuel system finished and a few other small things I can try to fire it up. I may start another thread on the stand alone harness, it would make a good sticky. #CRtheworld

I might have a few things to throw in there if you do.

I hate the pins in those connectors. I suppose you used the Lisle tool? I had to adjust mine after it mangled a pin and I had to buy a new connector body.

I just cut and spliced the wires, I didnt want to invest much in the harness.

Started on the exhaust this weekend, finished up all the fuel lines. I also started on all the power steering lines all the stock lines fit they just need to be bent a little.

It is getting close to being able to fire this thing up.

I havent weighed it yet, hopefully I can get it done this week though. Heck yea man, the whole point of this thread is to help others and share ideas. Get after it, and thank you.

Nice build!

I appreciate it!

I did a big ol' fist pump for ya when I saw the start up clip on IG yesterday! BIG milestone! And she fired off beautifully!!

Whenever I see a first start video this goes through my mind.

Thankfully yours didn’t do this.
