New here and Need a Turbo!

So I bought this truck last night, and I get not quite 10 miles down the road and the intake housing blows off the turbo :nail: (it supposedly has less than 1000 miles) which it does look new... anyhoots I need a new turbo but Im lookin for any silver series, phat shaft turbos or a s300 62 or 64mm. thanks

out of curiosity are those borg warner s300 good turbos that flow well? reason I ask is cuz I know the big diesel brands take those and modify them to be better. but to the main question, would an s362 be worth 800 or should I save up for something nicer?

S362 covers a lot of turbos... $800 is a good deal, if it's in good shape and the size you need.

what do you think of this? and if I could find an s362 at that price? ive got a 98 12v 5 speed with gsk and the usual mods could I spool this sucker?
