What is up with these things? they got one on the NH website and its running on hydrogen.. Like the prius in the tractor world lol.. Who's gonna work and these puppies and not blow up??

i ain't skeered of technology, i think it is interesting. i worked in a NH shop for a year and a half before coming out here to UNOH for the ag/ diesel program. if things were different i would not hesitate to go back

there are also some neat things going on elsewhere. like cvt transmissions, pilotless combines and tractors and such. many are just prototypes but someday we all know they will be a reality.

Yeah i did too for a year and a half, and now i'm workin on deutz tractors, I believe it said its coming out in 2013, Its definitely going to be interesting, just not much you can do anymore like the good ol days

CVT's are working out quite well...I've sold probably 120-130 of them since 2003.

Remote operated machinery is still a few years off...Deere had some running a couple years back until they drive through some houses or something:D That's something that will happen one of these days probably, but no right now.

Emmission technology right now is where most of the manufacturers focus lies...it's crippling the tractors trying to meet regs, but they all seem to be working through it!

Personally, with the way some things are shaking up at CNH, wait until 2013 and see if NH is still there to release this technology.

You'd be suprised, they have all the technology right now theres just too much liability. If you can watch your yields and adjust your concave and shoes from home you can drive it too.

But they just came out with the tier 4, they're changing it again?! Geeze.

Oh and NH will still be around, I was just in new holland, PA for combine school and a lot of the CNH tech guys were there and they weren't doubting anything. Case and new holland don't have many things that are different. There's just a few things new holland can't have.

i really like the pivot axle front end on the front wheel assist tractors, we have a couple of them at the dairy and they are extremely nice for tight area's around the barns....nice as well on the street
