New project started.

So about a month ago I found a really cheap 1st gen, cheap for my area. As a rusted POS, not running goes for a minimum of 3k. I found a 2 owner 89 d250 with 136k on it. A clean rust free truck. I paid $1300 for it, it would run and sounded like a bad headgasket. I tore the engine apart and it actually had a cracked block. So I started looking for a motor or shortblock to rebuild, Because the cost to sleeve was about $600, and that was the lowest price I could find.

So I was looking and looking... I found a 94 rclb duall, auto fairly clean running and driving truck. So I bought that to pull the engine and trans, and now I'm in the process of having a pumped first gen with a 47rh. Stay tuned as I'll be posting up pics in the next few days.

This will be kind of a budget build.

Not really giving up, I planned on keeping the ve pump and just replacing the block since it was cracked. But I picked up the 94 truck, regular cab dually. And since we're gonna part it out, I'm gonna keep the best parts. Lol
