No dash/tail lights

Just lost my dash and tail lights to my 94 PSD F-350 all of a sudden and haven't come back on for a couple days. Brake lights work, dome light works, hazards work and all fuses are good. I know tail and dash lights are on the same circuit. I was told it might be the headlight switch so ordered a new one cause its cheap but am wondering if it could be something else.

I was also wondering the best way to get the old headlight switch and the cover to the gauge cluster off its kinda tricky and I don't wanna break anything

just put in a new headlight switch and the harness looked a little burnt. i put it in and everything works again but now my aftermarket stereo cuts in and out and wont power on, i checked all the fuses and they're all good. wtf is going on.
