NV4500 conversion, 1 1/4" or 1 3/8"

Getrag is going south in my '91.5. I've got a rebuilt NV4500 and Advanced Adapterts bellhousing ready to go in. I'm about to order a clutch, and debating on the input shaft upgrade. When is it advised to step up to the 1 3/8"?

Truck is at ~275 hp now. Small twins and injectors are in the future. No drag racing, sled pulling, etc. This will be a daily driver, a 400 - 450 hp machine, and will be called on to pull sometimes heavy when needed.

When you need the holding power of a dual disc.... I figure might as well do both upgrades at the same time.

The ve can make serious torque. I've twisted the splines on my rear drive shaft before (I noticed yesterday) and I don't do boosted launches, or burn outs. It literally NEVER sees more than just romping on it when already moving.
