NV4500 question

I believe the auto has 23 spline count, while the NV output shaft has 29 spline count. You will need to find a 241 DHD out of a manual truck or swap for the correct shaft in the transfer case.
 
Got everythibg swapped finally! Word of advice, make sure that the studs on the side of the tailhousing where the t-case shifter mounts is drilled and tapped. Found that one out the hard way... Also, the crossmember mount is quite different at the rubber bushing and had to build an adapter plate. And as a side note, if anyone has a detailed diagram of the wiring for the cruise control it would be awesome. I miss my cruise control and would like to figure out how to re-wire it.
 
I think there is another thread where someone gave step by step on the swap, your looking at. Im doing the same thing only difference is mines an 01. but type in NV4500 you should be able to find everything including cruise control
