Yes. Pretty common. "Illegal" for street use IIRC, but so is most of our stuff I'm sure.

If it doesn't burn it off completely i'll cap the lines and add a catch can.

I was planning on running 2 lines from the engine to a catch can. From the top of the catch can, run 2 lines to the exhaust. That way you aren't pulling as much liquid into the exhaust, but you are still removing pressure from the CC. The vapor pulled should be easily burned off and not makes its way to the side of the truck.

That's how I was planning on setting mine up as well. I've seen some weld in bungs made specifically for this for sale at one time, but I don't recall who was selling them. I'll have to look through my screenshots and see if I still have the part numbers.
