I'm going to buy an exhaust brake for my 1993 W350. All I really do with it is pull a gooseneck lowboy and occasionally run cross country with it 12 hours or so a few times a year. It's a manual transmission truck FWIW.
I'm curious if anyone is running the 4" remote mount BD vacuum brake and what they think of it. I grew up in the 70s and 80s so I'm just a little leary of a vacuum actuated engine brake... BD doesn't actually make a kit with a 4" remote mount air actuated brake.
The pacbrake is air actuated. Both products are within $10 in price. But the only kit that is offered in 4" remote mount is for a 24V motorhome.
