put a lockup switch on my 94 now the speedo wont work and it wont go into od at all. any thoughts?

How did You hook switch up?

Is it in limp mode? Did you put a resister between the ground and the switch?

I didnt put a resistor in it haha yes the wrong way i assume since its not working.

i pulled the harness apart so im thinking i need an obd2 scanner so i can reset it. i soldered a wire onto the orange wire with the black line on it and grounded it out through a switch.
