Overspeed damage ?

GT50 , thrust bearing was OK, nothing went throught turbine, EGT at safe levels.

You have to feed the rats a bit better so they not eating away your turbine wheel. Lol

We get this if we run Hi EMP for a longer time mainly due to wastegate problems even if your controlling EGT this still happens and throws the wheel off balance as parts are coming off the wheel with bearing damage as a result. Even do EGT upfront turbine reads normal this dos not tell the temp on the turbine blades. So fist blades than bearings.

Boost ~3 bar , backpressure ~3,6 bar at higher rpms, peaked a little higher during spooling.

But yes, first blades, then bearings because of unbalance.

82mm 11 blade compressor, 1.13A/R exhaust housing wastegate blocked. 1000-1100 hp working truck, no smoke. I told them to use wastegate..
