P pump ?

Ive searched about this but have not really found an answer so Ill ask.

I injection pump gear is a press fit to the injection pump, when you pull the gear there is a key way on the shaft but no key way on the gear.
With these 13mm pumps (just an example) taking alot of power to turn do you guy cut a key way in the gear to prevent timing slip?

seen them in person. Nice works of art and time but just depends on if you got the bills or not for them.

Don't you also have to modify your pulleys and use a different belt with these covers?
