popping sound

Just this morning while towing I noticed popping sounds from the exhuast while the truck down shifted in Tow/Haul Mode. I have never heard this before. Right after hearing this I noticed a slight lose of power. The truck started running fine after that. But now when I rev it up it still pops when coming down in RPMs. I have 59k on the clock and yes I was tuned when it happened.

The popping sound is coming from the exhuats. Now when the motors couls it will do it if you get on it a bit.

I have seen this in trucks with lazy injectors. Easy way to be able to listen to the exhaust is to drive next to a concrete wall. You still out in the middle of texas or are you back in FL yet? Bring it by and I'll check out the cylinder contribution.
