We all have that black porous plastic on our trucks weather it's a bumper, door handle or the cowl for the windshield wipers.
Everyone gets wax on them no matter how careful you are. And it looks hideous doesn't it.
Try this.....
Get a tooth brush and work it in tight circles on the offending area for a couple seconds.. It will get the wax off guaranteed!
My experience is a soft to medium bristle brush works best on most of these surfaces. Get the most plain, simple looking tooth brush you can find, the extra crap that is supposed to help clean teeth hinders wax removal.
 
Note: Using your wife's toothbrush may have negative effects on your marriage
 
Also try some water with 20% denatured alcohol and a splash of ammonia.
 
A micro fiber soaked with quick detailer will get it off....and fast.
 
A match and some gas will do the trick also. Guaranteed you won't worry about the wax anymore.
