I've had a mildly ported(PDR stage 2 24V ) head on the engine in my truck for almost 60 k miles. Not cracking, no warpage, no problems at all. I recently sent a nearly new 6.7 head in for a bit more extensive work(larger valves, seats with more press fit, intake removed, yada, yada). My truck runs about 1400 max egt at the track( I don't go there often) and the rest of the time rarely sees 1000. I'll be running the same turbos and fuel system in the 6.7 so i don't expect to see higher egt's(hoping lower). Do you think i could see the same life out of it? It would be great to see at least 50k miles. That would be 4-5 years worth of driving.
Thanks.

I with forrest on this one. Hell I got 300k out of few of them treating them much worse than you describe.

Just don't let Brad drive it, he can break an anvil...:shake:

Ron if you drive it........I think it will last you for ever or you can send it to me and I can figure out how long it will last.

I've been thinking about developing a meth habit to improve my reflexes so i can drive faster.
