Powerstroke troubles

Hey, I'm having a bit of a crisis and hopefully someone can help me. My power stroke will be running fine and then lose power and die. After taking a long time to restart it will run fine and eventually lose power and then die. It's not the cps and the fuel filter is brand new. Can anyone tell my what it might be? Could it be the oil pump for the injectors? I hope not.:banghead:

Sounds like something related to Oil HPOP or IPR, Id try and get a scanner hooked up to it.

yea i had that problem a while back n it was my ipr the nut on it came loose n the ipr came off it would run fine for a while n do that same stuff

Could also be a melted valve cover gasket connector-very common on the OBS trucks.
