PRI Convention drag race/dyno Orlando Fla. December 10th

Congrats to Matt (Camomax). Matt and his wife drove a very long way for this and you couldn't meet a nicer pair of people.

Very nice turn out of trucks.

Left lane had some thing on it as the stock tuned 2x4 pickup I was driving got very loose a couple times on it's last pass when it didn't at all before. I mentioned this to the track and a couple fellow racers, but the track kept running cars. After the 4th gasser in a row got way out of shape, they finally stopped the race and cleaned up the track. Cost quite a few to lose, but just happy no one was hurt.

Overall, great show and good NADM event.

Thanks to everyone that came out for the show. It got a little cold from flordia's point of view. We had a 50 truck turnout and was very impressed with that. We were hoping for about 15-20 to put a little show on for PRI but got great support from the diesel crowd.
NADM

That was Jason Cannon from Middleburg Fl. in the white 94 2500 2x4 with twins. Keep your eye on that truck... lots of HP there, looking for traction.
Thanks to Kirt, Scott & the NADM guys for a fun event & the great BBQ!
If the track surface had been good, there would have been some awesome matchups in the finals, as there were lots of fast trucks, but the cold & unusually damp weather only resulted in several good driving skill exibitions, including Wrongway living up to his name, after setting low ET of the event, next pass he pointed his 1000hp 4x4 at the grandstands about 60' out!, Adam from FCDP spinning the Rangers tires full track, & a strong C6 Vette running high 7's that went through the traps just about sideways! All good though, nobody lost any paint, & it was a blast to watch. Several other guys, including Danny in the white 7.60 Ford, & Matt(?) in the 6.50(!) Duramax, doing a great job flying down the track

I've got a video of Camomax vs Rudy's during eliminations, I'll youtube it when I get home, it would take hours via 3G connection

I can think of some pictures that shouldn't be seen. :hehe:

The left lane was even hard for my 6 leaker to get traction..

Great times but wish I could have meet more people.

Thanks Diesel Specialists and NADM for a great time. I sent the wife and kids back to the hotel around 10:30 and I didn't make it back until 4:30am.

You were the one snaping away til 6am! get em up!

Yeah it was! I had one pass that I literally spun all the way down the track, had to drive that sucker all the way to the finish line!

That was some tight racing too! Everybody was running tough. I think every race I had was decided by less than a .08 or so except one.

And thanx to the NADM! I actually wasn't even gonna race but Phillip "talked me into it" (yeah, that's tough to do LOL ). I was expecting there to be only about 10-15 trucks and heard there was 59!

And good seeing everybody and meeting some new people as usual. :D
