To everyone that PM me im out on my 18y anniversary date night, lol if i dont get back with you tonight i will sometime tomorrow. Also im an hour from Ennis and i see Worlds in Early Oct so thats a great way and place to meet and get this to you. I go in for major surgury Oct 9th with a long slow recovery so most likely if you want it make arrangments with me before that date, thanks.
Ryan

This would be a good deal for someone. And takes the guess work out. I spent a good couple years getting to a complete working setup. I also quit counting when I realized i was over $10k.

Also you might mention outside to outside measurements, gear ratio, driveshaft length, and yoke sizes.

Yes ^^^ plus lug pattern? I'm interested to see if it's worth the rework for my pro street which is running a glide and I can use all of your offerings.

Thanks!

Hey guys i called over to get some of the questions answered. This is a place in the racer to not skimp but building one to this spec is Really expensive im sure some of yall put more than 4500 in a 6 cyl cast iron head. Any way heres some spec please ask if i missed something

Drive shafts sweet spot is 48 inches. Basicly the slip yoke is 46 1/4 to 50 1/4. Its 1350 with Strange moly ends.

Total housing i thought was 24" but thier saying it looks closer to like 25.5", its all together so hard to measure perfect. Total is right at 62" this includes the big sidewall from the 32x17. Tire footprint is 18" roll out is 102". Wheels are the sweet 15x15 Weld Aluma Stars. 5/8" studs. 4 link bars are on 17" centers. Ratio is 5.00, deep for diesel rpm i know but the only cheap thing to change. I would cross the strip (1/8) around 140 mph at 7400. For refrence, say you were only 120, this would be around 6200. 100 would be 5250ish.....so ya a gear change would be in quick order for anyone, lol.

Oh, billet brake housings, billet alum anti roll cmoly end links. All brackets are on housing still for parachute, wheelie bars, etc......
Lug pattern im sure is the same 4 3/4 that everyone uses but ill chk when i get there

If you come down i may have more stuff you'd need to finish, i have Lots of stuff lol been at this a while 22-23 years i guess. I have a new never pulled launcher chute also if youve not yet got one etc....

Have you got your convertor? I could have my guy do you one, if you have the bell to allow the right one. You wont have the rpm to use a 10" and keep it coupled. Id put you with him so im not the middle man

Thanks Ryan. I have a new XP5 lockup glide with a steel bell and 13" bolted converter. Getting tired of waiting to run it. I have to check with Russ on here to see how his has been holding up since switching out the 10" for the 13" to keep things alive. I went with the 1.81 first gear. I would love to try that 5.0 gear for the fun of it if I only had to go 330' :evil

PM in bound to discuss this further.

Thanks,

Chris

Sounds good bud, let me know if i could help. Ya itd rip alright... the gov would just come so soon, lol

Stroud launcher

Here is the chute and a bit of info on it. Its Strouds 430 launcher, a CMoly mount we built to attatch it to a car, its 10 foot cable, and a tool i fabbed up to roll up the internal spring.

Reason for one and why thier so much more expensive, a reg chute just opens and wind drag pulls it out then the pilot chute gets it out to deploy, this takes time. It seems like forever at speed. These launchers have a long spring wound up then pinned, so its sitting there under a lot of tension. When thier called on they shoot out with great force and the slow down procedure is Tons quicker.

This ones new, its taken a few rides down the track but never even deployed, not once. It was about 800 to the door, then i choose to build a mount and the tool rather than purchase them. If someone would like it, i could bring it also to Ennis. Id bring it all for say 600 bucks, that would easy save ya 300 plus time you buy the cable, the tool, a mount system, etc and pay frieght on it all. I just wont have a use for it
