QSB Pistons

Decided since I am looking for information on them others must be too, might as well have it in one place.

From what I understand they are heat treated twice and are 30% stronger then standard truck pistons. They have a similar bowl too the 03-04.5 pistons, but the bowl lip has been shaved a bit.

Don't know ring land height, or CR or pin height or bowl width ect... Hopefully these can be filled in.

I have found these part numbers:

4943930 = 1mm over
4943929 = 0.5mm over
4943928 = std (I am extrapolating on this one as I didn't actually find a reference to this one)

I also found a CPL of 41860 that is supposed to be for a QSB 480hp (needs to be verified) Which lead me to a piston number of:

4955622 but I don't know what size it is.

Hopefully someone can fill in some of the blanks, as too the differences between the two part numbers, and anything else I have left out.
 
The QSB 480 # 4955622 is a stock size piston.
I have a set setting here, waiting to go in.
 
hx40, hx50 something in that range, they are water cooled turbine housings...
