I am a little confused about this. My truck will run 12.7-12.8 in the 1/4 mile consistently. Where would this fall in to place class wise and be competitve? What are the requirements for E/T class and how far does Super Street range as far as times go? I haven't raced competitively yet, and I am just trying to get a good understanding for what I am getting myself in to. Thanks!

Super street can be in the mid 10's now. If you can run mid 12's you can probably be competetive with some luck. The majority of trucks run atleast into the 12's and many in the 11's with a few in the 10's. There are no et requirements for super street in NHRDA the only requirements are no slicks for 4x4, fuel tank in stock location, battery in stock location

I've seen 12.50s win superstreet. If you decided to race et then you'll be one of the quicker ones

So I have to run pro street just because I have a fuel tank in my bed?! That rule must have changed since last year?

Thanks guys. I was able to find the detailed rules on NADM site for their racing, but I couldn't find anything detailed on the NHRDA site.

NHRDA - National Hot Rod Diesel Association - Diesel Drag Race Rules!

This is the link to the NHRDA web site rules section. The only thing omitted is that the Sportsman ET bracket class has no ET restrictions. Conceivably, a 7 second dragster could be running against a 19 second truck.

I thought you couldn't run faster than 12.00 in ET? If not, then I might race ET also
