Quick question on injector install

Are teh rubber o Rings

that go ont he hold down nut really nessesary for a 12V? I have my injectors off right now and was wonderin... no i dont have an install kit... and three of the rubber rings deteriorated when i removed them...

also can i reuse the plastic sleeves from the old injectors?

The rubber O-rings are just to keep water and dust out. So it will be ok. Not sure about the plastic sleeves. Never seen them before...
