well the rat rod broke the dyno today! snapped the rollers shaft clean off the instant we 'ghetto fogged' it. also popped the head gasket pretty good right out the front.
made a weak 611hp on the 'fuel only' run before, and never gave a reading of the carnage run. too bad because i bet that graph would have looked awesome!!!!!

What brand of dyno was it? Looks like a double roller setup that you turned into a single roller.....

Looks to be a Dyno Dynamics single eddy that has been painted black and purple...

I'm surprised at the failure and glad no one got hurt!!!
 
ya people are crazy. i was pretty nervous even being in the car. you can see brett trying to hide behind the computer rack.
 
its funny reading the comments on other forums and news feeds who picked up the video. every trolling gas boy thinks they know what they're talking about, without having a clue! haha.

On the second from the top vid at the 40sec point+/- sure looks like there are no lug nuts.

No kidding! If the motor lets loose, it's gonna spit parts up, down, right or left. I'm perfectly fine watching and listening from 50ft away with other bodies in front of me to slow the shrapnel.
 
Exactly! And everyone knew we were about to ghetto fog it with no tip, yet people still stand around.
 
About the front wheels... They are bolted on as usual, but the rims are multi spacing so they look odd
