Not sure if there is a thread on this but feel free to post a link if there is. I'm going a different route and would like to see some pictures.

I think he means to lower the rear rather than raise the front but I could be wrong.

No he means lowering the rear to match the front, taking blocks out of the rear. Unlike a normal level where you add spacers to the front, to match the front to the rear.

Yeah that's exactly what I mean. I see a lot of 3rd gens this way but not 2nds

That's how mine is, went to a two inch block in the rear instead of the factory 4-1/2". Without question one of the best things I've done to the truck. I had it leveled with taller coils, put stock ones back in, could hardly believe how much better it drivers. I'll try to get a pic after work.

J-Pipes i'd like to see it when you get a chance to post a picture. After christmas sometime i'm going to have a complete restore build thread of my truck and the last step is going to be dropping rear down. My engine is apart right now and I'm waiting on parts that should've been here by now...

Still no pics yet, sorry. Right now it looks stock due to the air bags holding the back up a little. I'll have to let some air out to get a better pic for you.

Couple pics finally. About 15psi in the bags, still holding the back up just a bit.

Marcus Weaver's 02 with 1.5 coil cut on front, remove block and helper leaf in rear.

Thanks a bunch for the pictures, the rear is definitely going to come down. And Lavon I might be coming for visit soon when I finish my truck...

That's with 265/75/16's on my truck, probably a little smaller tire than most run. Had 285's on it when I first dropped it, really liked how they filled the wheel wells, just wanted to try another size this time.
