S400sxe

Testing Scania 13L XPI Rally Engine on the dyno.

So far we get this out of a 472SX-E on a bit over 3Bar boost pressure. EMP is not bad on over 1000Hp @ 1786RPM but we need a wastegate as I’m running a 1.25A/R and I do not deed this amount of boost to make even more power as the AFR is around 18.
One on one compared to the S476SX-3 this one dos better so far

That's a pretty significant difference in the 8th! Awesome. What's your fuel setup if you don't mind me asking?

Not at all. 150% S&S and dual stock pumps

The S488 SX-E flows as much as a S591 but spools like a S483.
The s480 SX-E flows like a S486 but spools like a S475
The S476 SX-E flows like a S480 and spool like a S472

Bringing this one back. I went with a 76SXE/96 in a 1.0 T4 housing. I had issues getting the truck to 60ft due to track conditions. I believe with a good 60 is will go 10.2s. Driveability is great boost 62 drive 75. This is a fuel only stock head/cam 5.9 so I am beyond happy with the results.
 
On paper may be the only place a 64 trim compressor looks good, especially in a diesel application.

I would like to hear your thoughts on what trim you prefer on a diesel
 
Seems a lot of guys like the 96mm turbine over the 87mm turbine for the 76mm

Cummins or? My buddy has a built motor LLY with 150% and 10mm. Its easy to tell he's barely fueling it to capacity. Runs super clean at about 800. He obviously need more pump but the 87 is working well for him and the .90 to boot. Its slow to light compared to the worked over VGT my other buddy has but thats expected.
