I'm sure it's already been discussed but die to lake of time does anyone have any recommendations how to make a rear scatter shield for a third gen. Obviously pipe and mounting brackets. Maybe some details of what size pipe works great. Pics would help. Maybe it's easier just to buy them? Thanks for any advice or help

What are you meaning by rear scatter shield?? Also try the search button, there's lots of info on this site to be had..
 
I mean a u joint shield usually pipe mounted around the universal. I know there is a lot of information just shirt on time so figured I'd post and maybe get with quick reply.
 
Ahh ok. 8" 1/4 wall. (Schd 40) is a good size. I tried 6" kat to small.. cut the pipe in half and make/weld 2 flanges on each side so it can bolt togeather after wrapped around u joint.. make a bracket ofd the rear pumpkin thay will hold the loop in place..

Where do you plan on pulling?
