Seeing the tree with a hood stack?

I gotta ask. I have seen tons of hood stacks in diesel drag racing now. How hard is it to be in the left lane and see the tree. Looks tough as hell to me

Stack really isn't in my line of site. Once I double bulb and bring the boost up to 25-30lb. range it clears the smoke pretty good.

Mine protrudes from the hood roughly 13". This is the one case were I think shorter is better.

Now that I think of it my race seat kinda has me almost leaning back. If I was in a factory seat in the upright position it might create some issues. My helmet almost touches the back window ( single cab short bed)

mine doesnt get in the way at all infact i really dont even notice it when im on the track at all

The tough part is trying to run in the left lane in DirtyMax, with that monster hood scoop on it. It's also tough driving through the pits trying to avoid running over people!

I would say mine is about the same as every other cummins hood stack

Drove it daily with the HS for about 6 months. Hell my tach is more of an issue than it is.
