Anyone got any build threads on putting a 12v in a newer half ton. I have a 05 dodge I would like to put a motor I got in it. I would just like to see how they wired everything.

i love the 1gen i got a 90 2wd it was my highshool truck i built the 318 in it was my toy tell i bought this 8 years ago now it hasnt been driven in 2 years been want to drop a 12v manual in it for a while maybe one day

There's one around Gonzales, LA that's been to a few events. It's actually a 1/2 ton transplant though. He used to hit up a few events but I haven't seen it in a long time. It was dark blue with lightning strikes airbrushed on it iirc.


This is mine. Was an '03 reg cab long bed 2wd. It's 4wd now ('05 components) and short bed. Still a work in progress but should be done in the next 2 or 3 weeks I think. Just getting the fuel tank to work now. Had to use a fuel tank out of a 6.7 since it's the only one that'd fit.

I hadn't planned to do it 'til I saw how bad-ass lookin' Shawn's came out.

Here's a better one of mine. Almost done now.

Should have the fuel tank and lines taken care of by the end of the weekend then put the power doors and seats in and it'll be ready to come home.

Then the wrap goes on and a couple other miscellaneous things, and then I get to start putting the over $8k in go fast go-fast-goodies on that I have sitting in my office, lol.
