Slow to start unless pedal pressed??

Ok guys 96 12V 5 Spd When cranking to start it is slow to fire BUT if i barely touch the throttle it will fire off almost immediately. Is this something simply upping the idle adjustment might help or what do you think?

My truck down the same thing..bumped idle ever so slightly..I set it about 800

Shoot I thought all 12v were like that lol

Your idle might need adjusted or you may have an injector leaking not holding pressure

Idle is too low. Bump it up. If it idles too high for your liking, loosen your governor springs a click or two and readjust the idle again.
