Quick question...

I'm contemplating building a small twin setup for my VE 91.5. Goals, very quick spooling for daily driving and cool towing, emphasis toward efficiency and fuel economy...shooting for 400 hp fuel only give or take.

I have a HX55 for the primary. What would the best match be for the secondary for quick spool? I have a HE351cw on the truck now. Anyone have experience with a S258? Or maybe a GTX3076R? Or G3582R? I can't find alot of info in the diesel world on turbos that small.

Or should I just stick with the burbos I have (he351 / hx55)?

Thanks, Eric

Find a he341, at that horsepower level the 351 will probably support that buy itself. The 341 spools great in twins, they are fairly cheap and you can swap the 351 back and forth to see which one you like. Either one of them needs the wastegate hole drilled out to 1 inch and I like to put a spring wastegate on them for better control.
