smoke issues

At idle roughly 4000-6000psi

Really not much lower can be alittle higher and be ok
Maybe change your fuel filter? Where u from only do it when its cold out?

Sounds to me like you have a couple pintles not seating properly.

05's were notorious for injector issues, for whatever reason; above included.

Although... I do remember a reflash that came out years ago that helped with the symptoms. How stock is the truck? Has the ECM been flashed at all since the truck was new? Might try an update....

Or they got dirt/trash from the install......
Don't ask me how I know

Picky little bastards, aint they? LOL

You're not losing any coolant right?

I thought about this too. OP, does the white smoke burn your eyes like partially burned fuel, or does it wreak of scalded coolant? Like D_I said, has the coolant level dropped?

No coolant loss, new tubes and washers and everything torqued to specs

What did you torque the connector tubes to?

What did you tighten first, the connector tubes or the injector hold downs?

Did you vacuum out the injector bores before dropping them in?

Bottom line, if its white smoke its either coolant or fuel in the cylinder thats seeping in there while it sets. If the injectors and the install there-of is correct, you've got a cracked head or blown head gasket. Not to panic you, but there are two very different courses of action depending on the origin of the smoke.
