I don't think deck spacing is any different but the head is considerably taller. Straight up and down ports make for good flow.

I'd rather spend the kind of money I'm thinking that head will cost on a set of Darin Morgan/Profiler SBC symmetrical port heads to have a 1k-hp all motor small block Chevrolet.
