Currently have a 57/65/14 over 75/96/1.32 and thinking with the limited rpm and fuel of a vp, the 96/1.32 on the primary isn't the best choice for my application. The truck is a dd and sees the strip regularly in the spring and summer. With a tighter exhaust it should perform better on the street and at the strip as it should be making power where a vp can utilize it better.
Question is what experience does everyone have with the 83, 87, or 92 turbine wheels with the 1.10 t6 housing? I'm set on a 1.10 but not sure which wheel. Any input?

Do you have an external gate to bypass the little one after a certain boost or drive number? I would keep that arrangement and try an external gate first.

I have a 57/65 over a 75/83/1.10. It did 594 hp and no drive pressure issues.

I'd like to try an 87 turbine, I doubt if I'd gain enough to make it worth it though.

Just using the internal gate on the s300g. Was gonna look at it and see if there's enough material to drill hole out bigger. Thinking about adding a spring gate to it.

I was looking at the 83, best value of my options, but afraid it would be just a little to small. Was looking at the 87 when stumbled across crazy Carl selling 92's. Where's a good place to look at 75/87/1.10 t6? My goal is better dd characteristics and 12.1-11.9 quarter miles.

Same combo i had. Ran well. However i changed my primary to a gt4202 and its way better on both ends of the range

Went from 96/1.32 to gt4202? If I decide to go with the 83 turbine i was going to try to decide between s400 or gt4202

Would the s300g/gt4202 be enough for say 650-700hp? To get my et goal with 7000lbs pickup figure I need 650hp to ground

do you think you are at the limits for the chargers or more room to go?

62 65 14 over a 78 87 1.01t6 and no issues..

are you running sovp?
I would like to get 650hp out of sovp, run 12.1-11.9 at the track, and have great street characteristics. it does fine on the street now, spools hard at 1650rpm, but is kinda lazy till 1650rpm. and at the track, tc locked up when it shifts, boost drops 5-10 psi then slowly builds back up. my thought and the thought of a couple shop owners on here are thinking the 96/1.32 is to big for the rpm and fuel of the vp, so when it shifts it falls on its face a little bit till I get rpm and heat built back up. in the same sense, on the street its not as responsive and a little lazy because of the large turbine and housing. I think anyways.....

I don't know, they should enough air for more than what it put down. Maybe my pump is getting weak or it just dynoed low, 7x.014's and a tst comp/smarty should be enough fuel for 650+
