ssr problem

I didn't look to deep to see if this problem has been brought up before, but im having an issue with the pod on my ssr. I don't street drive my truck its a trailer queen 2.6 truck like most, but when doing tuneing on it when we would tune it and load the tune. If we left it pluged in after about 30 sec the pod would act like its sets its self to 0, it wont rev past 1500 rpms and has no response at all. We finally got it set up so i could at least pull but Ive never heard of one doing this before. Has anyone else had this problem?
