stock vs single vs triple converter

stock vs single vs triple converter

I was going to get a triple. but maybe a single billet will do

read that triples shift hard

read that single shift much smoother


comparing to a stock one how much better is the single? 2x as good or more?


not towing anything right now. maybe a 10,000 lb trailer later
 
Yep depending on how its setup, my triple shifted nice and firm but not to hard. Anything is better than the stock converter.
 
Triple or single has nothing to do with how the transmission shifts. Now a triple will lock up firmer than a single on the same trans. A good single with a good VB will hold alot of HP though!

im leaning towards the single. think i would be wasting my money on a triple for how im using the truck..

i also want to get the 3-400 lower stall. not sure how much difference that would make..
