Supercharger and 72mm single. Exhaust a/r?

Admittedly, im going a bit over my head on this but i like to learn by jumping in. I have spring break coming up and am planning on putting a large single i have laying around on my truck and using a m90 to make it driveable. I have a garret that i believe is a GT4202. It came off a 60 series detroit. Its 72/85/1.32. I know that the 1.32 A/R would make it almost impossible to spool on the street with my setup. However im going to rig up the roots blower with a bypass feeding it to get it going off the bottom. So with a 1.32 housing will it just be frustrating to spool on the street? Thanks

I am not certain on the exhaust wheel. I'm going to have spend some more time fighting to get the exh. Housing off to get the exact measurement and put a kit in it.

Compressor is 72/102.

Measured with the cover off? Series 60s usually have 1.15 a/r as well. But there are several applications.

Whether or not its a GT4202 I do not know for sure. That's just what 24vRiviera told me in a thread a while back. But any thoughts on behavior would be awesome.

Ok, so from what I do/don't know it would seem to me that I would be able to spool it from the 8-10 psi I get from the SC somewhere in the 1700-1900 range. Does this sound right? Low?

Im no expert on this by any means.....but Im wanting to do the same style of set up in the future....

But i would think the 1.32 would just be a bit big to realy take advantage of the set up. Maybe in a racing style it might be ok, but it might have a bit of a gap where the S/C starts to fall off and the Turbo spools up.

To me a tighter A/R with a waste gate would be very nice for a street set up. I think turbolvr had an 80mm BB Garrett with his set up and first and it was pretty wicked!!!! The bigger turbo that spools at a decent time is the key, and its not very common of a set up so its not as easy to pick a turbo like it is for a twins set up!

I've only ever seen 68 and 70mm 4294s from a series 60. Doesnt mean a 72 doesn't exist though.

I am saying it is closer than the 4202. 4202 is larger than 72. I kind of wonder if it is a borg 472 with the 1.32 96x88 turbine

What I remember was that most of the gt4202s had the 75/102 comp wheel which garret lists with the 72/102 calling both TMF55 which I don't know really what that means but the tag also has that number on it.

Ok im on a computer now and have a couple of pics. they are not really good but hey.

this is the GT4202? (if thats what it is) next to an hx35.

this is another garrett i have that came off a caterpillar. I also do not know what is. It has about .015" of shaft play and a slightly bent comp wheel tip on the inducer.

Milk jug was for size comparison.
