tap for head studs

Anyone kniw what the tap size should be for 12mm head studs. Should be 12xsomething?

When installing head studs its a good idea to run a tap down in the block to clean out the threads and also to make sure that the holes are fully tapped all the way to the bottom.

I'm not sure what size we used on mine. Dont forget that you will need a bottom tap. You can either buy a bottom tap, or if you have a normal tap you can cut the bottom part of it off. Probably a better idea just to buy a bottom tap though.
