Is it possible to utilize the governor pressure transducer temperature signal output to run an aftermarket temperature gauge? I assume the output is analog, 0-5V? (47re equipment, stand-alone installation as a manual VB in an 03 truck.)

No love? Or wrong question to ask?

how about -

"how much powr does I got with this boost elbow?"

I believe it is a thermistor.

The BD Xmonitor works using it.

I am thinking as cheap as the transmission sender is for a gage, drop the pan, solder in a fitting, or the you can pull a plug back by the OD sction and put in a temp sensor.

I don't have the factor wiring diagram in front of me.
Another source of info would be the service manual. It probably will tell you acceptable values for the sensor.

yeah, I've got a gauge in the pan already, and a plugged port in the cooler outlet line. This thread was more of a 'I wonder if..." type of thing. Also, shame on me for not fiddling with the service manual (which I have)

It's not a 5v out signal, it's just a thermistor as Dan states. It starts at 2000 ohm at room temp. That's all I've figured out so far.

I've tested my temp signal output at 0.68V; I'm not sure what it takes to run a gauge, though.

Service manual has a chart for the acceptable range I think.
You are talking about the gauge only tied, no pcm correct?

Elbow comment ftw
Fealt that way so many times
