Stock turbo has tons of slop lots of oil in the discharge side
Is it possible for a blown oil seal on a turbo to:
1: Fill a intercooler with oil>>> Yes
2: Pressure from the exhaust side to get into the crankcase>>>?

What! Strange question I know but is it possible? A cracked cartridge maybe?
One more beer be right back LOL
I know it's broken rings but weird how much air blasts out the oil fill when boost is increased...........
OK Never mind stupid question just popped into my head as a what if!

Get another beer, have wife/girlfriend/significant other drive you to THEE Wal-Mart. Go to the automotive area, they have magic in a can of engine restore.

To answer question #2, yes. Exactly what happened to me created enough crankcase pressure that it blew the tappet cover gasket out.
