Thread on gasser site about diesel Chevelle

Wonder who tunes it, lol. Cool idea and still basically stock engine.

No disrespect, but cars like that are made for gas engines. I personally just don't like them. Especially classic cars musclecars.

the chevelle looked like it had a hand shaker in it. Anyone have an idea what it is?

That Chevelle has been to our shop and rolled on our rollers.

Basically stock LB7..federal. And he writes his own tunes IIRC.

Turbo-400 and a 12-bolt with 3.07

That was the setup then...unsure of setup now.

Really cool guy...surprises all the locals at the strip for sure.

I've seen it run it looks good. Hopefully he will be making out to the diesel drags on Oct 9th at Sacramento Raceway. He told me on another forum he should.

^^ Go figure! LOL

That is one clean car! That's one DMax I would trade one of my cummins for.

If someone would give me a built Dmax, I'd drop in my Chevelle!!!

x3 Classic American Muscle should be original.

There are certai types of car I dont mind a diesel swap into, but not a Chevelle like that.
I agree if it was something special. If it was some raggedy old clunker with an inline 6 or something, I say put a diesel in it.

I don't see a problem with a Diesel engine in a muscle car, as long as it was done for a reason other than "hahahahahaha hey cleeetus fool, lezz put dat der diesel in dar car dere hahahahahaha 'cuz diezels are da shizzy".
