How many people have a cable straight from the pedal to the lever? I want to do away with all of the linkages and extra bs.

Planning on doing it in my Power Wagon. If you run the cable off the linkage at the right angle it eliminates the initial stiff pedal. The OEM Dodge setup has the long link 90 degrees from tangent over the rotating axis, so for the first inch of travel you are actually pulling down on the pivot instead of 100% in the direction of the long link, because of the arc it has to travel in.

Stupid design!

McMaster has metric ball studs.

Thanks. I just recently started playing with push-pull cables and thought it would really clean stuff up a bit.
I also thought about moving the ball stud or the hole on the pedal around, but I'm not sure how to calculate how much taking a (half inch?) of the pedal throw radius will change the input to the pump.
Are you planning to use the gov housing to mount a bracket, or a longer one from a mount elsewhere?
