Hello, I have an 01 2500 4x4. I have 285/75/16's on it now. I can pick up a set of 315/75/16 tires for it. Anybody running these? Will they rub? I have a leveling kit on the front but otherwise the truck is not lifted at all. Thanks, Matt

Likely will rub, but with a leveling kit, it won't be horrible.

I've got 315/75/16s on my truck with a leveling kit. Its tight but they fit with just a tiny bit of rubbing.

my buddy's truck ahd 315/75/16s on stock rims with a leveling kit and they rubbed then he got some mt classic 2s and they didn't rub anymore.

ALL depends the backspacing.. I ran 315's on 16x8's with a leveling kit and had absolutely no rubbing in any condition.. The 325's on a 20x10" wheel rubbed slightly with the same coils but 1/2" forward control arms.

My truck has a 2 inch leveling kit with 315 75 16's on 16x8's and I have ZERO RUBBING issues.

I have 315's on stock rims with no leveling kit and have a turning radius of a semi truck now :bang

Agreed about the turning radius. Also, good luck turning the wheel when you're not moving....

Does your buddy's truck have 16x8 or 16x10 Classic 2s? I think the wheel offset is key here. I've got the 16x10s and my tires rubbed like hell before I did some trimming. I think a wheel with offset somewhere between stock and the wheels I have now would be perfect with this size tire.

That's with 16x8 wheels, with 4.5" BS and stock control arms.

Also 35x12.5/16.5n with 4.8"BS fit with minor rubbing of the inner fender.

stock alloy rims with 315's rubbed pretty bad on the control arm with a leveling kit. MT classic 2's in 16"x10" with 4.5" BS and 315's dang near tore the fenders off trying to turn with a leveling kit. 4.5" lift solved that.

Hell I have a friend that runs 37's with just a leveling kit and 2" forward control arms :hehe:. No rubbing. That's a lot cheaper then a complete lift kit.
