My 2003 7.3l torque converter is chattering and looks like I need to change it out soon. Was thinking about putting an upgraded TC like a triple disk just in case if decide on modding it. Might as well get something better while im already in the tranny. The tranny is stock with 140,000 miles. I have read around many forums and some say that a triple disk will grab too hard on the stock tranny. If a triple disk isn't good for my application, which is towing a 5,000 lbs lawn service trailer daily, with just an exhaust and intake, let me know. I appreciate all the info I can get. THANK YOU!
