Torque onverter Stator Question

Will a 48re stock/OEM stator hold up in a triple disc converter at 1k whp?

Odd question I know, but i need to find out if it has to be a machined billet stator or if the oem stator unmolested unit is plenty strong.

We run a stock 47 stator at 1000 whp. Truck weighs 5300lbs, no problems so far.

I believe he's talking about a 4x4 first Gen with a large single turbo.

Yes single 475 on a 12 valve. Stock cummins stator and v10 bowl.
